Required for September 2010- TEACHER OF ENGLISH (Assistant Subject Leader) - Full Time – TLR 2(b) payment of £4225 per annum (to be confirmed).
An enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher of English is required to join this oversubscribed and popular school and to take particular responsibility for Key Stage 3 English.

The Campion School is very well-placed in tables of local and national examination results, enjoys an excellent reputation locally, and is committed to maintaining a broad curriculum and a wide range of extra curricular activity. The school underwent a very successful OFSTED inspection in 2007, which praised the high achievement, very good behaviour and good teaching that characterise the school. The English Department is very successful; in 2010, 79% of Year 11 achieved grades A*- C at GCSE and for GCE A-level a 100% pass rate was achieved. The school has a national reputation for sport. Required for September 2010 – Subject Leader for Modern Languages – TLR 1(b) Payment (currently) of £9,085 per annum, (due an increment 1 st September 2010).
An experienced and well-qualified teacher is needed to lead the Modern Languages Department in this over-subscribed and popular school. French is the first language studied by pupils, and the new Subject Leader will be responsible for continuing the work of the Department in that area. Italian is the second language taught and there is an Assistant Subject Leader with responsibility for Italian in the new Staffing Structure. Both languages are taught to Advanced Level. An enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher of Physical Education & Games is required by this oversubscribed and popular school. Examination results are very high and the school has an excellent local reputation. The school underwent a very successful OFSTED inspection in March 2007, which has praised the high achievement, very good behaviour and good teaching that characterise the school. The school has a national reputation for sport and this post represents an opportunity to join a department that has been very successful over a lengthy period of time. The PE Department is very successful academically. An enthusiasm for the development of high standards within the subject of Physical Education at GCSE, AS, A level and BTEC National is essential for the post and an ability to coach rugby to a high standard would be an advantage.
